Busy Halloween Day!

This is the doll stroller... Boy were they pleased about this.
Never was there a cuter bunny! Apparently when Megan was out trick-or-treating she was hiding behind her ears and saying "BOO"! So appropriate, especially as she can't say "trick-or-treat".
Both girls in costume. Another good rrrarrr from Katie. Don't think that Pandas say rrrarrr... oh well, it convinced her to get in the costume.
Gabby came to join the girls for trick-or-treating.
After everyone was home Katie helped me hand out candies. It was another busy year.

Another grouping of pumpkins. Unfortunately, the candle wouldn't stay lit in one of Katie's creations, otherwise you would see a scar-like mouth running between the eyes.
Lots of pumpkins this year. I forgot that the daycares send pumpkins home to carve too... The highest pumpkin in this group is one of Katie's drawings, there are 2 eyes, can you see the second eye??

This costume is good, but a bit big. She might wear it out on Halloween night with lots of clothes underneath, but there's a smaller rabbit one for school tomorrow. Pretty good RRRAARR though.

New Couch

We had Gabby over and the girls watched a video and checked out the new couch. Lots of room for friends!
But what Megan likes most is that she is the right height to poke at the pictures behind the couch. She points to herself and says "Meggie".

Happy Thanksgiving!! Grandma really wanted a family shot, it's harder than it sounds with no one manning the camera and kids involved. This is as good as it got!

Retro Dress Up

We found some of my parents old clothes and decided that we needed to dress up for dinner! We were surprised these weren't bellbottoms...
The sweet pink outfit is wool, dinner was warm! We couldn't quite put our finger on the era of the dress.
We also found a teenage mutant ninja turtle costume and Katie wore it to dinner all weekend! This dress was so sweet I had to bring it home for work!

Checking out Houses

Open houses aren't so bad if your parents pack snacks and there are window seats.

Croquet with Oma

We visited my Grandma today. The weather was nice, so we had a croquet match on the lawn before lunch. I didn't get any pictures of the action. It was way too competitive to think of stoppping to grab the camera.

After the visit, Kaitlyn thought that she would practice being a wet blanket...

Aquarium trip

Labour day at the aquarium wasn't so bad.... Megan is sporting a fancy outfit from Great Auntie Susan.
