Playdate at Our House

We have made some new friends! Haruka (I'm sorry if I've misspelled this) was born on the same date as Katie and Ryan was born about a week earlier so they are all doing about the same things. Today it was a toy orgy. Every once in a while they would all be talking at the same time and you could make believe they were visiting! The Mommies got a good lunch and a nice visit. Thanks for coming over!

100th Post

We joined Andrea and Ben at the mall on Tuesday. In theory this was a trip to get some Christmas shopping done. In reality Christmas shopping with children doesn't work that well. We still enjoyed getting out of the house though.

First we went and visited Santa, Kaitlyn was okay with this, Ben was not but you'll have to check out his site to see that.

Then came lunch. Carrots yumm...

Ben's new trick is to try to stand up in the high chair - keeping both Mommy's on their toes.

Then there was very little shopping before it was time for a break from the strollers.

Katie's been dying to get her hands on Ben for a long time now.

New Tricks

The new tricks are coming fast and furious as Katie starts to imitate us. She is getting the hang of waving now. After a week at the resort with all the tourists and staff waving at her she sort of got the idea. Check out the video below and watch her right hand at the end (in front of her mouth)

Well, we're back from vacation in the Dominican Republic. It sure was nice to be in the heat for a week. And also nice to be there with lots of friends. Congratulations to Kyle and Carrie! The wedding went off beautifully. Here are a few pictures.
