What a difference a year makes

This Friday we went to the Aquarium with Ben. Afterwards we went and played in the leaves for a while. Check here to see Katie in the leaves last year!

A Sunny Friday!

It was finally sunny here so we headed out to the Aquarium and Stanley Park with Andrea and Ben!


Kaitlyn was trying to climb everything. I think she liked seeing the dolphins but the grating was even better.


With 2 toddlers the pace is a lot quicker around the exibits. Katie would go anywhere Ben went.


We had seen all the exibits and so we decided to head out into the park and the sunshine.



Kaitlyn brings us leaves because Ben brought us leaves.

Oh, phew! There they are!

This pile of leaves was the best thing they found all morning.

...and going. Katie liked the leaf shower so much she started picking up leaves and trying to put them on her head!

Aunty Bevin Visits

Dad was away for a band weekend, so Aunty Bevin ("Annie") came to visit. We went to the apple festival, but it was too hectic to even think about taking photos, and came away with a tummy ache and lots of apples. We also headed down to 3rd beach again since Katie loved the sand so much the first time.
I swear she insisted on the ponytail!

Kind of tired, not so sure about this sand and no puddles.

Home again, goofing around with Aunty.

Thanksgiving Day Walk

Monday was the perfect day for a walk in Stanley Park.

And only one pant leg was wet - muddy buddies are great - now we have to work on boots.
And this is why some of the trails are still closed!

Thanksgiving

The turkey gets started in the brine.

Keeping a toddler away from the oven involves forts!!

A variety of cute things happen in the evenings after work and school.

Sometimes it's dressup.

Sometimes it's snack time.

Sometimes we lounge about in our diaper.

Sometimes we go for car rides.
