Spring is here?

After a week of on and off snow, Spring seems to be finally arriving...

Time to try on your pretty dress!

Kaitlyn currently has an obsession with the skytrain (or was that ky-tain?). Here she has loaded herself into her stoller (bear in the lower compartment) and is saying goodbye to her parents. In another 10 years I will become concerned about this sort of thing...

While her parents worked in the back yard on a new patio, Kaitlyn made the most of her time riding her bike and helping dig.
...And pushing the wheelbarrow of course.

A New Patio

I've convinced the family that I need a patio in the back corner of the yard and everyone has gotten in on the project! Here we are starting the digging on Saturday.

Katie was very patient and even helped us dig!

Easter at Saturna

A day at Stanley Park

After checking out the new frog exhibit at the Aquarium, we took a "shortcut" back to the car to check out where a fat squirrel lived.

Occasionally Katie says "cheese" for the camera.
Rocks are pretty important to Katie at the moment. So much so that she collects imaginary ones when no suitable candidates are close at hand.

Much Excitement!!!

Katie has used her potty for the first time! She has been very comfortable sitting on it in the middle of diaper changes for a while, but tonight before bath she actually peed. I think she surprised herself as much as us. She was rewarded with 2 pieces of toilet paper and lots of clapping and she was pretty pleased with the whole experience! Let's hope this gets repeated!
