Sunny Sunday Walk

Time for a walk outside in the sunshine!
The neighbours cats are photogenic. I'm sure you will see more of them in the future.

Aquarium day

Grandma and Grandpa visit for dinner. That's one tuckered out little girl.
A trip to the aquarium. These monkeys don't sit still for long.
The beluga whales were treated to Kaitlyn singing Raffi's "baby beluga". The whales are so fat, however, that maybe she should have been singing Sir Mix-a-lot's "baby got back"...
"Oh, my, god...
Becky, look at her butt..."
This whale made a bubble in the shape of a ring... pretty cool!

Operate the train set...
Watch the train come by....
Kaitlyn didn't want to go home. She said "I like choo choos"
Play with Rob while Geoff takes more photos....

Erin's Birthday

It was a pretty cold and snowy day to go and check out the eagle count at Brackendale near Squamish. Normally (apparently) you can see dozens of eagles from our chosen vantage point (thanks to Tim and Kirsten for organizing). The snow and a poor salmon run contributed to a pretty poor turnout on the part of the eagles. Still - we saw about a dozen and they are pretty cool even in those numbers.

Kaitlyn and Ben check out the action at the viewing station.

Kyle and Carrie brought Taylor and Cloe out too. After a short while we were cold and wet and went for lunch.

This Jeuvenile bald eagle "buzzed the tower" and flew in close over our heads before setting down on the opposite bank of the river.

More photos!

The new camera is a bit of a disease - I admit. Here are some shots at the school across the street.
Splash in all the puddles.
The colours are a bit whacky in this one... like I said - new camera. Just consider it art...
A pair of toques on a cold day.

Happy New Year!

She's after me!
Cute boots on New Years Day
Cheese!
Moo!
Why do temper tamtrums require your head to touch the floor? This tantrum was narrowly averted...
