Vacation!

We Spent a lovely week over on Saturna. No friends - No family - just us. We all had a lovely time and everyone was sad to leave. I took more pictures than I care to admit. I hope you don't fall asleep by the end of the post!

There are plenty of bambis running around the place. This one has some pretty serious eyelashes!

Later on we went in hunt of the elusive BIG PUDDLE! I think we found it.

Hamming it up for the camera - this is somewhat rare. Mostly I was interested in some serious static hair, but I will take the rest as well.

Life with 2 kids can be called a horror show sometimes...

Megan's First Playdate

We headed to Ben's house for the morning. Katie and Ben are now in the independent play age and spent a good amount of time entertaining themselves in Ben's room and then playing out on the patio.

Holly and Megan needed a little more supervision.

We headed to the water park for some fun in the sun. Katie spent a lot of time filling this bucket with water and heading to dump it. Ben was at the craft table. Lucy and Abi joined us and Lucy was snacking with the adults.

dinner with relatives

Aunt Donna and Uncle Doug hosted a fantastic long weekend dinner complete with BBQ turkey.

The dinner was with some more Distant Relatives - My Father's double cousin's daughters and their families... I can't do the math... Is that double second and third cousins?
6 kids of some relation or other all playing in the backyard anyways. It was good and chaotic!
