Sleeping

This is to remind us what sleeping babies look like once Megan gets a bit older. We are enjoying the "babymoon" but it is showing signs of ending.... oh dear!

eyes and mouth

Focus... focus... how do these eye things work?

I know how this bit works! Now I need to practice to be as loud as Kaitlyn.

Meet Megan!

Please meet Megan Alison Dosman
Born July 18th 11:14pm at St. Paul's Hospital
Weight 8lb 1oz.
The doctors and staff were all fantastic.
For those into the details, the labour was relatively short and intense for Erin. We arrived at the hospital at ~6pm and delivered 5 hours later.
She looks a bit like a cue ball, but what hair is there is red blonde. Her eyes are blue for the time being, and we are enjoying how much she sleeps (for now...)
Kaitlyn is very taken with her baby sister and holds her and gives her hugs at every opportunity. She has reacted very well (so far) to having to share her parents.

More Megan (what else)

These pics are from Saturday afternoon. We had a room full of family and we all had a nice visit. Erin was feeling so good that she and I walked over to Davie street to get Kam's place take out. I think it felt a little weird leaving both the kids behind...
Kaitlyn counts Megan's toes.
Kaitlyn got first row seating for Megan's bath.
I think I need to make up some reason for a community health nurse to come and bath the kids every night! They are pros.
Sunday afternoon cuddle time at chez Dosman. Everyone's invited!

39 weeks

Okay, I'm officially 39 weeks pregnant and counting. No baby yet! Katie was 10 days early, so I was really hoping..... I have now resigned myself to the idea that my second baby will be late so that I can stop expecting to go into labour every day.

But I am really looking forward to being able to bend over again.

Last Visit with the Cousins

The cousins flew home today, so we had one last day together. The weather was nice and hot and there was lots of playing in the backyard.

Hamming it up for the camera on the stairs.

It was even hot enough to make running through the hose a good idea. Even in their new travel clothes....
We'll miss having you guys around!!
