Bowen Island

Kaitlyn and I went over to Bowen to visit Ryan and his family in their new house. Kaitlyn has been missing having Ryan 3 blocks away!

Ryan got a hockey net and a few sticks for Christmas - both kids loved playing with this. I tried to give them different balls to chase, but that was no fun apparently.

While the kids napped the mommies walked around the lake. What a beautiful day to be outside.

After nap time the kids wanted to go outside too.

Christmas in Kamloops

Kaitlyn was so good with the house full of people. Everyone got good night hugs.

And Aunty got to take care of the baths and share cuddle time with Tiga.

Having babysitters in the house meant that we got to get out for walks!

Kaitlyn is getting more insistent about trying to dress herself.

Tiga was generally "other dog". Katie always sounded so surprised when she saw the dogs!

Santa was good to Kaitlyn this year!

Our last visit to Saturna in 2007

Before heading home for Christmas we decided to have a vacation in Saturna with Steve and Liz!

It sure is getting dark early, but we thought it would be good to head to the beach for a bit of fresh air.


Aunty Liz is the best at stick and rock baseball.

Daycare Christmas Party

Daycare throws a Christmas party and we all eat and play until bedtime!!

Santa came with gifts for all the kids at the party!! Kaitlyn was brave here, but when it came time to get a gift she wasn't going anywhere near that guy with a beard.

Lazy Saturday

Why get out of your jammies when it's cold and snowy outside??

Okay, maybe we'll get dressed and check out the snow....
But which hat should Katie wear?

We finally made it out in the snow in the evening. Katie loved the snow as long as it didn't contact her.
