Kaitlyn Walks Everywhere

Over the weekend Kaitlyn has quickly progressed from a few steps to nothing but walking. Apparently at daycare today she didn't crawl at all - and she didn't stop walking. When she got home she didn't stop walking either, around in circles if nothing else would do. Here are a couple of videos. WARNING - the first part has my singing to demonstrate a few of Katie's new dances, but she couldn't stop long enough to row, so you'll only hear her saying "row, row, row" in it, but she does crouch down at the appropriate time in Ring Around the Rosie.

Finally at the park

Daddy gets in on the fun.

Walking?

Many people have asked whether Katie is walking yet or not. We tell them that she can walk but she won't. This sounds like some sort of excuse I know, but here is what we mean. Here is a video of Katie walking, her hands were full so she didn't object to not holding on to us, but we had to hold on to the ribbon on her pants or she would "fall" over.

Kyle and Carrie's Wedding (#2)

Kyle and Carrie are officially married! It was a little soggy, but everyone managed to find some rainy day activities to enjoy the day.

Shane looked after Katie for a bit.

Katie managed to help herself to a pickle from this position without us noticing. She did eat most of it though.

Katie and I check out the motorhome where Carrie and the girls are waiting. Katie got a kick out of sitting in the drivers chair.

There was lots of "flying"...

And tossing rocks in the river.

We really enjoyed the day.

Accessorizing

Lately Katie has shown a desire to accessorize. It all started with the pink holey soles I think.
She has been showing an interest in my watch so I found her this one to wear. She loves it!
She picked out the pink helmet from all the ones in the store and she loves to wear it around the house now.
These sun glasses were a hit all by themselves!
Last night she couldn't eat dinner without the hat on. When it fell off dinner was interupted until it was retrieved.
Tonight it was these sun glasses. Dinner couldn't begin until they were on and though she took them off numerous times, they always needed to be put back on.
